Tudor Oprea is Head of Operations at Vanguard Europe and President of Smart Everything Everywhere (SEE). Previously, he worked in the European Parliament in the cabinet of MEP Dragoș Tudorache, where he was Head of Communications. He was also Under Secretary of State for Digitalization in the Ministry of Education of Romania, where he was responsible for all digitalization processes and initiatives throughout the Romanian educational system. In 2016, he was on the Prime-Minister’s team tasked with implementing GovITHub, the first crowd-sourced public administration digitalization initiative in post-communist Romania.

Tudor has a B.A. in Psychology from York University (Toronto, Canada) and a M.Sc. in Public Health (MPH) from Umea University (Umea, Sweden). He is a firm believer in social equality and has always focused on contributing to a better and more accessible world for all, regardless of nationality, ethnic background, sex, gender, sexual orientation or any other personal preferences.
