Renata is a Consultant at Vanguard Europe and a PhD candidate in the final year of an interdisciplinary program in EU Studies at the Universities of Genoa and Turin. Her doctoral work also includes research stays in the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Previously, she worked in the European Parliament in the cabinet of MEP Dragoș Tudorache as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant and as a Legal Assistant at the European Data Protection Board under the Blue Book Traineeship scheme. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Trieste (Gorizia campus) and an MA in European Union Law from the University of Turin. Renata is driven by a passion for fundamental rights and advocates for access to education for all, gender equality, and women’s empowerment. She is a dual Romanian and naturalised Italian national. She is fluent in Romanian, Italian, and English, and conversant in French.
